Nominations are now open for the NOLA Walk of Fame!

Celebrate New Orleans' legacy! The NOLA Walk of Fame honors those whose achievements and contributions shape the vibrant culture of our city. Each year, New Orleans residents and visitors gather in anticipation to welcome new inductees whose dedication, creativity, and service enrich our community.

Submit your nominee to ensure it is considered at the annual Committee meeting, where the next trailblazer will be selected. Don't miss this opportunity to recognize individuals who embody the spirit of New Orleans!

Walk of Fame Selection Criteria

Nominees must be born in New Orleans, demonstrate global influence and resilience, have a lasting impact on NOLA’s culture, and serve as a source of pride and testament to the city worldwide. Evaluation will consider professional achievements, a minimum of ten years in their field, contributions to the community, and a commitment to attend the induction ceremony. Nominees may be submitted in Entertainment & Music, Business, Sports, Politics, and the Arts.

Walk of Fame Submissions

To be considered, please submit a recent photo of the nominee and a brief biography detailing their contributions to the New Orleans community.

Nominees will be selected continuously, and it may take multiple years of nominations before an individual is chosen. Once selected, the nominee will be honored with a fleur-de-lis installation.

Following the Committee’s selection, nominations are submitted to the NOLA Walk of Fame Board of Directors for final approval. The nominee’s representative will be contacted regarding participation details. Nominations not selected for the current year are encouraged to reapply in future cycles.

The Committee reserves the right to adjust nomination and selection procedures, forms, and qualifications without prior notice.

NOLA Walk of Fame Application Fee:

To submit a nomination, a non-refundable application fee of $250 is required.
